Stagecoach – Medieval Market

Stage Coach

Christian used to love going to Stagecoach in Tonbridge, and I received this lovely email from Wendy who runs it…

I just wanted to get in touch to let you know that on our last day of term (28th March) our students will be having an informal Medieval Market for parents and friends. We would very much like to donate any money that the children make on the stalls to Christian’s charity.

Address: Weald of Kent Grammar School, Tudeley lane, Tonbridge TN9 2JP

Time: 12.00 ish

Our students will be dressing up in character (and hopefully some parents too!). We have a few stalls as follows:

Medieval makeovers’  – Come and decorate a hat or have your hair done!

Lotions and potions’  –  The witches stall of goodies

‘Cakes and baked goods stalls’  – (Cakes, biscuits all food welcome)

‘Farm shop’  – Items of clothing, fruit and vegetables and eggs.

Song/Dance  – Our younger students have been busy devising their own song lyrics “Horrible Histories” style and will be showing these too.  Our older students will be showing their Blues Brothers Medley which we are performing next week at Her Majesty’s Theatre and there will also be other dance routines, including a piece our Dance Troupe performed at Mick Jagger Centre, Dartford in Focus on the Arts Festival.

We are looking forward to going along and would like to thank Wendy and stage coach for their ongoing support!
